J. Fred Colville earned his 60 Year Pin

Blenn D. Bales
WB Bales Masonic history began at Pickaway Lodge #23 F&AM where he was initiated on February 4th, 1925, passed on February 18, 1925, and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on march 25, 1925.  He was later elected Worshipful Master in November of 1939.  He also became a member of the AASR Valley of Columbus and the Circleville York Rite Bodies.  He also served Scioto Commandry as Eminent Commander and later as Recorder for several years.  This year WB Bales received his 80 Year Pin, one of only two Masons to receive such an honor this year.  WB Bales was presented his pin, along with a clock at the Pickaway Manor nursing home by MWB Jim S. Deyo and WB Richard Adams.

WB Bales has in his possession a Masonic apron given to him by his great-grandfather, which implies that it was created sometime in the mid 19th century, probably between 1850 and 1865.  The apron in in remarkably good condition considering it's age, much like WB Bales himself!
